meteoric is built by people who don't want to sell your data. This page tells you what information we collect, why, and what control you have over it.
This Privacy Policy applies to the meteoric website (the "Site") and the meteoric iOS application (the "App"), both operated by Bwino Works ("we", "us", "our"). meteoric was formerly published as StayBuilt; this policy covers the app under both names. By using the Site or the App you agree to the practices described here.
I. Information we collect
On the website
When you visit our marketing website, we collect anonymous, aggregate analytics: pages viewed, country (not city), referring source, and approximate session count. We do not use cookies for tracking, do not fingerprint your browser, and do not build advertising profiles. No personally identifiable information is collected from website visits.
In the iOS app
When you use the meteoric app, we may collect:
- Profile information you provide: age range, gender, activity level, areas of concern, and GLP-1 medication status (if you choose to share it).
- Check-in answers and plan level: your daily check-in responses and the plan adjustments computed from them.
- Workout logs: completed sessions, exercise difficulty ratings, and streaks.
- Optional health tracking: protein intake entries, meal logs, weigh-ins, and GLP-1 medication logs, if you enable those features.
- Meal photos and descriptions (AI estimates): when you ask for a protein estimate, the photo you snap or the short description you type is sent to our estimation service to produce the estimate. It is processed transiently and is not stored by us; see the next paragraph.
- Device information: iOS version, device model, app version, and crash logs (used to fix bugs).
Where your data lives. Your check-in answers, meal and workout logs, and tracking data are stored on your device and synced to your personal, private iCloud database (Apple CloudKit) so they survive a lost or replaced phone. That private database belongs to your Apple account: Bwino Works cannot read it, and it is not stored on our own servers. You can turn iCloud off for meteoric at any time in iOS Settings.
How AI meal estimates work. When you use "Snap a meal" or "Describe it", the photo or text is transmitted over an encrypted connection to our estimation proxy (hosted on Cloudflare) and forwarded to Anthropic, our AI provider, which returns the nutrition estimate. The image or text is processed to produce that single estimate: we do not store it, it is not added to any profile of you, and it is not linked to your identity. Anthropic does not use data submitted through its API to train its models. If you never use the scanner, no photo or description ever leaves your device.
If you contact us
When you email us, we receive whatever you choose to share, typically your email address and the content of your message. We use this only to reply to you and improve the product.
II. How we use information
We use the limited information we collect to:
- Operate and improve the Site and the App.
- Personalize your daily plan based on your profile and check-ins.
- Send you transactional messages (account confirmations, support replies).
- Diagnose technical issues and fix bugs.
- Understand which marketing pages are useful, in aggregate.
We do not sell your information. We do not share your information with advertisers. We do not use your information to build profiles for targeting.
III. Apple Health integration
Apple Health sync is optional and write-only. If you enable it, the App writes your completed sessions (as workouts with estimated active energy), logged protein and meal macros (calories, carbohydrates, fat), and weigh-ins into Apple Health. meteoric does not read anything from Apple Health. This exchange happens only between your device and Apple's HealthKit framework; it is not transmitted to Bwino Works servers, and you can revoke permission at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health.
IV. Cookies and similar technologies
The website does not use advertising or tracking cookies. We use only the minimal technical storage necessary for the site to function (no consent banner is required because no consent is needed). The App does not use third-party advertising SDKs.
V. Third parties we work with
We use a small number of trusted services to operate meteoric:
- Our hosting provider hosts the website and provides anonymous analytics.
- Apple distributes the App through the App Store, processes subscription payments, and hosts your private iCloud sync database (CloudKit). Apple's privacy policy applies to those services.
- RevenueCat manages subscription entitlements. It receives anonymized purchase receipts from Apple so the App knows your membership is active; it does not receive your name, email, or health data.
- Cloudflare hosts the estimation proxy that relays meal photos and descriptions for AI estimates. It does not store them.
- Anthropic processes meal photos and descriptions to produce nutrition estimates. Data sent through its API is not used to train its models.
These providers process data on our behalf under written agreements that restrict their use of your information to the services they perform for us.
VI. Your rights and choices
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you.
- Correct information that is inaccurate.
- Delete your information (delete the App from your device to remove all locally stored data; email us to remove anything we hold server-side).
- Withdraw consent for any optional data sharing at any time.
- Object to specific uses of your information.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California, you have additional rights under GDPR, UK GDPR, and the CCPA respectively, including the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and the right to opt out of any sale of personal information (we do not sell personal information).
VII. Data retention
We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described above, or as required by law. Anonymous analytics are retained for up to 24 months. Email correspondence is retained for as long as needed to provide support and historical context, then deleted on request.
VIII. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls, and least-privilege practices for the small number of people who can access systems. No system is perfectly secure; if we ever experience a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and any required authorities promptly.
IX. Health information disclaimer
meteoric is a fitness application, not a medical device. Information about your GLP-1 medication, body, or training is processed for the purpose of generating personalized exercise and nutrition plans, not for diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice. We are not a covered entity under HIPAA. Always consult your healthcare provider for medical questions.
X. Children's privacy
meteoric is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
XI. International transfers
Our service providers may process data in the United States and other countries. By using meteoric, you consent to your information being transferred to and processed in those countries, which may have different data protection laws than your home country.
XII. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the product evolves. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top and, where appropriate, notify you in the App or by email. Continued use of meteoric after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
