I. Common questions

How do I cancel my subscription?

meteoric subscriptions are billed by Apple. To cancel:

  1. Open the Settings app on your iPhone.
  2. Tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions.
  3. Find meteoric (the App Store listing may still show the StayBuilt name during the transition) and tap Cancel Subscription.

You'll keep access until the end of your current billing period. If you started the Annual plan, the 7-day free trial is genuinely free: cancel before it ends and you won't be charged. The Weekly plan has no free trial.

I want a refund.

Refunds are handled by Apple, not by us. Visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, find the meteoric charge, and select Request a Refund. Apple decides individual refund requests within their normal window, typically a few days.

If Apple declines and you have a specific reason you'd like us to know about, email us and we'll do what we can.

I lost my data after deleting and reinstalling the app.

meteoric currently stores your check-in answers, workout logs, and tracking data on your device. Deleting the app removes that data. We're working on optional iCloud backup for a future release.

If you back up your iPhone via iCloud or to a computer, restoring from a backup will restore your meteoric data along with everything else.

The app crashes or won't open.

First, try these in order:

  1. Force-quit meteoric (swipe up and away from the app switcher) and reopen.
  2. Restart your iPhone.
  3. Check the App Store for an update: go to your profile picture, scroll down, and look for meteoric.
  4. If it still crashes: email us with your iOS version (Settings → General → About) and a description of when it happens (on launch? during a workout? after a specific tap?).

How do I delete my account and all my data?

Because all your data lives on your device, deleting the app removes everything locally: check-in answers, workout logs, protein and medication tracking, and streaks. There is no separate "account" to delete.

If you've enabled Apple Health sync, workout completions written to Apple Health will remain there until you remove them in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Health → meteoric.

If we ever add server-side accounts, we'll provide an in-app deletion option and reflect it here.

Can I use meteoric without GLP-1 tracking?

Yes. The GLP-1 medication log and medication-aware features are entirely optional. During onboarding you can answer "No" or "Not sure" to the GLP-1 question, and the related tracking features won't appear. The strength sessions, daily check-in, and protein tracking work the same way for everyone.

Is meteoric safe given my medication or condition?

meteoric is a fitness program, not medical advice. We design it for adults 35-65, including those taking GLP-1 medications, but we strongly recommend you talk to your doctor before starting any exercise program, especially if you are pregnant, recovering from surgery or injury, managing chronic conditions (cardiovascular, musculoskeletal, metabolic), or on medications that affect blood pressure, blood sugar, or hydration.

If you experience pain, dizziness, chest discomfort, or unusual symptoms during a session, stop and contact a healthcare professional.

Does meteoric work on iPad or Mac?

Not yet. meteoric is iPhone-only and requires iOS 17 or later. The app may install on iPad in compatibility mode but is not optimized for that screen size or for Mac. iPad and Apple Watch versions are on our roadmap.

How do I report a bug or request a feature?

Email support@staybuilt.app. For bug reports please include:

Feature requests are read by the founder personally. The product roadmap is shaped by what users actually ask for, so please write in even if you think it's a small thing.

I'm a journalist, clinician, or potential partner.

For press inquiries, clinical collaboration, or business development, email support@staybuilt.app with "Press" or "Partnership" in the subject line and we'll route you to the right person.

II. Subscription & billing

All meteoric subscriptions are billed by Apple through your App Store account. We never see your payment information. Apple manages renewals, cancellations, refunds, payment method updates, and family sharing settings.

Manage your subscription

Settings (iOS) → your name → Subscriptions → meteoric. From there you can change between Weekly and Annual, cancel, or re-subscribe.

Trial mechanics

The 7-day free trial applies to the Annual plan only; the Weekly plan has no trial. The trial begins the moment you subscribe to Annual. Apple sends a reminder before the trial ends and the first charge applies. Cancel any time during the trial to avoid being charged. You'll keep access through the end of the trial period.

Family sharing

meteoric subscriptions are not currently shareable through Apple Family Sharing. Each person who wants to use the app needs their own subscription. We're evaluating Family Sharing for a future release.

III. Privacy & data

Short version: your data lives on your device. We don't sell or share your information. We don't run ads. The website uses anonymous analytics (no cookies, no tracking).

Full details are in our Privacy Policy. If you have a specific data question, email us.

IV. Accessibility

We design meteoric to be usable by people with a range of abilities. The app supports iOS Dynamic Type for larger text, VoiceOver for screen reading, and Reduce Motion for animations. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please email us; we treat accessibility issues as bugs and prioritize fixing them.

VI. Health & safety disclaimer

meteoric is a fitness program for general wellness. It is not a substitute for medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before beginning a new exercise program, especially if you are taking GLP-1 medications (Ozempic, Wegovy, Mounjaro, Zepbound, or others), have a history of heart disease, joint problems, or other chronic conditions, or are pregnant or postpartum.

If you experience chest pain, severe shortness of breath, dizziness, fainting, or unusual pain during exercise, stop immediately and seek medical attention.
